Message	abbiding citizen shoots a thief, he becomes the criminal and goes to jail. Unfortunately, in most cases, the law protects the criminal. I have guns and permit myself. The only way I would use it is if my family is in danger or something, in the fat chance I can get them out of the lock. No point in using it on my defense, since most probably I will end up in jail.
